I’m Pierre Roijen, a longtime lover of technology and design. In my life I had the opportunity to try out both of them. My former employer, a newspaper publisher gave me the chance to develop myself in electronics, IT and design/web-design. My most recent accomplishment was a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology. This website is my yournal for writing down my personal projects. In this way I hope to contribute to everyone with similar interests and have a reminder, for myself, of my sucesses and failures. English is not my native language but I think it’s easier for the reader to forgive some spelling and grammar mistakes than to learn Dutch.
And by the way, I love Cats and Science fiction.
– thats why I chose the nickname Data Sung –
Ik hoop dat Nederlandse bezoekers het niet erg vinden dat ik een breder publiek probeer aan te spreken. Wanneer er behoefte is aan een Nederlandse vertaling van een item zal ik dit proberen te regelen.
If we all did the things we are really capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.
LOVE WHAT YOU DO. DO WHAT YOU LOVE
I live in the south of the Netherlands with my wife, daughter and 3 cats. The above picture is showing me at an annual steampunk fair. I enjoy my spare time working on a vast amount of projects ranging from electronics to game engine programming and making fun with my wife and daugther. My working days I spend as an engineer with an manufacturer of BMW cars.
Our new generation is adapting to and embracing modern technology the way I did my entire life. I share their enthusiasm to try out new things. This would make me the oldest millennial.
Pierre Roijen, the oldest millennial.
